A collage, created over many years, of material pinned to walls in the study of poet Thom Gunn at his San Francisco home on

and friends. Individuals pictured include Mike Kitay, Ander Gunn, Ander Gunn's son (Thom Gunn's nephew), Bill Schuessler,
Bob Bair, Tony White, Tony Tanner and Marcia Tanner, Sheila Ballantyne, Allan Noseworthy, Norm Rathweg, Don Doody, Charlie
Hinkle, and Joe Mockus. Ephemera includes promotional items for San Francisco gay bars, clubs or events, material or images
relating to the leather scene, punk rock, male nudes, male celebrities, literary figures, etc. Some postcards contain personal
correspondence or notes. Some cards contain brief greetings or correspondence from friends. A significant number are from
Douglas Chambers (more than 6 postcards), one is from author Paul Bowles, and a brief greeting is from photographer Robert
